MISSION

 

Our vision is to provide a collaborative network of resources to improve the quality of life for each individual enabling Love Kitchen to proclaim health and wellness in a holistic manner feeding the human need in Washington Heights, Northern Harlem Inwood and Marble Hill Bronx.

 

Since its inception in 1987 NYC Loves Kitchen, our focus has been on meeting the needs of families, and individuals with “food as an entry point”. Together, the selfless work of staff, volunteers, local churches, stakeholders, and a dedicated board, the NYC Love Kitchen continues to serve the most vulnerable in a community challenged by growing unemployment and food insecurity.

 

As of today we provide emergency food to more than 3,000 families weekly and serve over 700 hot meals to individuals living on the streets.
